What moves over from your wheel

  • Your airbag: always yours, moved over by your installer. A new wheel never includes one.
  • Your buttons and switch panels, with their wiring.
  • Your paddle shifters, unless you pick carbon paddles.
  • Your heated wheel, only if you pick it and your car came with one.

Driver assist on this car: Lane assist and adaptive cruise: no workshop has confirmed these for a new rim on the TRX yet. We check your truck before you pay.

Other 2019+ Ram 1500 (DT) trims: ask us first.

Install

Professional install recommended. A shop usually takes 60 to 90 minutes; the LED display adds some wiring.

  1. Disconnect the battery and wait at least 15 minutes before you touch the airbag.
  2. Release and unplug the airbag, then set it face up somewhere safe.
  3. Undo the centre bolt, mark the wheel's position and pull the old wheel off the spline.
  4. Move the buttons, paddles and wiring across, then fit the new wheel straight on the spline.
  5. Tighten the centre bolt to the torque in your truck's service data, refit the airbag and reconnect the battery.
  6. LED display only: plug the reader into the OBD port and connect the wheel's 12 V feed to a switched supply, never the horn or airbag circuit. Then test the horn and check the airbag light goes out.

Questions

Does it come with an airbag?

No. Your own airbag moves over from your current wheel, and a new wheel never includes one. Have a qualified installer move it.

Is it real carbon fibre?

Every finish is listed as carbon-pattern until the wheel maker confirms in writing that your build is real carbon fibre. Your quote says which you get, before you pay.

Will my heated wheel still work?

Only if your car came with a heated wheel and you pick Keep my heated wheel. Heating can be kept if your car came with a heated wheel; we quote the cost in your fit email. It can't be added to a car that never had it.

How does the LED display work? Will it drain my battery?

The display shows data such as RPM, sent to the wheel by Bluetooth from a small reader in your car's diagnostic (OBD) port. Your quote confirms how it connects and is powered on your car. A reader that stays powered with the car off can drain the battery, so where needed your installer wires it to ignition power.

Will lane assist or hands-free driving still work?

Lane assist and adaptive cruise: no workshop has confirmed these for a new rim on the TRX yet. We check your truck before you pay.

How long does it take?

It's built to order: about 15-20 days to build, then 16-23 days shipping with tracking. Your quote confirms the build time, and we email photos of your wheel before it ships. If a date we gave you slips, we tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.

Can I install it myself?

We recommend a professional install. It usually takes 60 to 90 minutes with a torque wrench: disconnect the battery and wait 15 minutes, move the airbag, buttons and paddles, then wire the LED display if you chose it.

What if it doesn't fit or arrives damaged?

We confirm fit with your car's details before we build. If it arrives damaged or faulty, or isn't the part we confirmed, email us with photos and we remake or refund it. It's built to order, so there are no change-of-mind returns once production starts.

Is there a warranty?

Your quote lists the warranty the wheel maker gives for your build. Whatever it says, a wheel that arrives damaged, faulty or not as confirmed is covered by our refund policy.

How do I pay?

Nothing is charged when you send your build. Once we confirm fit and price, we email you a secure checkout link. You can cancel free until we email you that production has started.
